Family-Run, Fell-Rooted
Fjell Event Tipis is a family-run business managed by the father-and-son team of Pete and Thomas Garner. Established in 2012, we are the only event tipi provider based in the Lake District, serving the North of England, Scotland, and beyond.
The Meaning Behind Our Name
The name Fjell is the original Norse spelling of “fell” — meaning mountain. It reflects both the company’s Scandinavian heritage and the deep Norse history woven into the Lakeland landscape where we live and work.
From our base in the heart of the Lake District fells, we bring the warmth and craftsmanship of Scandinavian tradition to celebrations across the North. Every event we create carries a little of that mountain spirit — grounded, authentic, and unforgettable
